Launch PowerShell, then run:
Import-Module ExchangeOnlineManagement -
Run this command to create the mail-enabled forward:
New-MailContact -Name "xd-A1B2C3" -DisplayName "xd-A1B2C3" -Alias "xd-A1B2C3" -ExternalEmailAddress "xd-A1B2C3@latency.exchangedefender.com" -
Run this command to add the client SMTP address:
Set-MailContact -Identity "xd-A1B2C3" -EmailAddresses @{Add="smtp:xd-A1B2C3@exchangedefender.net"} - Return here and click I created it!.
- Open Google Admin and create a new user/group for xd-A1B2C3@exchangedefender.net.
- Configure routing/forwarding to xd-A1B2C3@latency.exchangedefender.com.
- Allow external forwarding for this mailbox policy.
- Save changes and send a test message to confirm routing.
- Return here and click I created it!.
- Create a mailbox or alias for xd-A1B2C3@exchangedefender.net.
- Set forwarding/redirect to xd-A1B2C3@latency.exchangedefender.com.
- Confirm the system permits forwarding to external recipients.
- Send a test message to the client address and verify delivery.
- Return here and click I created it!.
